Just on the outskirts of Ploermel is the forest of Broceliande where you can find Merlin's tomb,
the stunning Chateau
de Trecesson and its Lady of the Lake etc. A must for nature lovers!
Vannes:
A must!! Historical Vannes is famous for its port, its busy Saturday morning market and its medieval
architecture. A large town in Brittany, it has many good restaurants
and shops. Also a gateway to the Gulf of Morbihan and its many picturesque islands.

Parc de Branféré: An immense park with a château and a host of friendly animals.... Located 30 minutes south.
Parc de la Préhistoire: A park with life size prehistoric animals to take your breath away! Located in Malansac, 30 minutes south.
Annual Interceltique Festival: 31st July to 9th August 2009. This international festival in Lorient is a must for lovers of Celtic culture.
