Camping des Cerisiers is a small, friendly, family run campsite situated in a natural setting 2km from the pretty, medieval town of Josselin with its imposing chateau, many bars and restaurants and also only 800 metres from the Nantes to Brest canal, with its wide footpaths, ideal for walking or cycling. Rambling, cycling, horseriding, boat trips, tennis, swimming, golf, fishing and watersports within easy reach.
8 km away is the up and coming town of Ploermel with lots of bars, shops and places to eat, a cinema, a ten pin bowling, golf and a large man-made lake with a beach and water sports.
The magnificent granite coast is an hour's drive to the north, whereas the beautiful beaches and numerous islands of the Gulf of Morbihan are 45 minutes down south.
The campsite is open all year round and has 25 pitches including mobile home and caravan hire, as well as electric hook ups for tourers or tents. Waste water disposal and level pitches for motor homes.
Also available on site: cycle hire, plenty of open space, play area with ping-pong table, picnic areas and walk in owner's wood.
There is a shop on site that sells the basic requirements, as well as fresh daily bread (summer season), wine, beer, cider and other local produce. We have recently extended our shop to include English food and farm produce. Open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
